Villa Shamira’s nine members of staff all live locally and are regarded as almost part of the family. Many have been employed by the owners for years. Delightfully informal and friendly, they are well experienced and great with children.

Yanto, the amiable villa manager, is an excellent source of useful information and a dab hand at organising whatever is required on behalf of villa guests. He speaks good English and goes out of his way to make sure guests have a wonderful stay at Villa Shamira. However, with the utmost discretion, Yanto is only around when he’s needed! - Head housekeeper and cook
Having worked at Villa Shamira since it opened in 1990, Wayan is not only an extremely capable cook and housekeeper, but also something of a lovable motherly figure. While Wayan has been rustling up marvellous food in the family kitchen for years, she still likes to update her broad culinary skills with regular cookery lessons. - Three housekeepers
Two of the villa’s three housekeepers, Nengah, Anna and Andini, also double as cooks, assisting Wayan in the kitchen. - One driver
When he is not providing chauffeur services, Mr Agus can also be found tending to Shamira’s garden. - Two security guards
Mr Blacky and Mr Komang are the villa security guards, stationed outside the property and working a 6pm to 6am shift.
